My first 1/2 marathon
Came to Baltimore to visit Jillikins and brought BabyWorld in the process.  Running my first half marathon was a side note.... But I did it in 2:19, which I am very pleased with!  I am stiff and a little sore this morning, but tomorrow--YIKES.
I chose a hilly course for my first.  The first two miles were uphill the whooooooooole way.  Then it would flatten out, another hill, repeat this, then flatten and some downhills, then flat to finish.
It was impressive to see the city's finest blocking the streets and cheering us on as we ran past.  It was also impressive to see how many folks were just hanging out of their homes or on the sidewalks cheering us on.  One guy even had "Chariots of Fire" blaring out of his window at 9 in the morning.  Made me chuckle!
I may have to go ahead with the ice bath idea.... My legs will thank me tomorrow if I do.

Congratulations! I only run when being chased, so I can't imagine running that far or that fast!

That is awesome! As a sedentary non-runner I will never understand running on purpose...but I am super proud of you!

Great job! Sounds tough for your first but all the rest should be easy after this one, eh?
